1. Overview
Apps by SAHARA ("we", "us", "our") built ContextLoom as a local-first application. This Privacy Policy explains our approach to your data — which is straightforward: we don't collect it.
2. Data We Collect
None. ContextLoom operates entirely on your local device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data, usage data, workspace files, or document content. There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, no cookies, and no telemetry.
3. Local-First Architecture
All data you create, edit, view, or organize in ContextLoom lives on your Mac. The App reads and writes files only within the directories you explicitly open. By default, your ContextLoom workspace is backed up to your personal iCloud Drive account using Apple's CloudKit framework. This backup is scoped exclusively to your ContextLoom workspace — no other files on your device are touched. The backup data is stored in your own iCloud storage; we never see, access, or process it. You can disable iCloud backup at any time in the App's settings, and your local files remain unaffected.
4. Third-Party Services
ContextLoom does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. If you download ContextLoom through the Mac App Store, Apple's own privacy policies apply to the download and payment process. ContextLoom uses iCloud Drive for workspace backup by default. Apple's iCloud and iCloud Drive terms and privacy policies apply to the backup and storage of your data within your iCloud account. You can disable this in the App's settings at any time.
5. No Account Required
ContextLoom does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in. There is no user registration.
6. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, this is inherently satisfied.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we ever change our data practices, we will update this Privacy Policy and clearly communicate the changes. Any data collection would always be opt-in and transparent.
